Dr. Murray is a graduate of Howard University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology. Shortly thereafter, he attended Howard University College of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1982. Immediately after achieving those accomplishments, Dr. Murray joined the U.S. Army. Dr. Murray served three years as a Captain in the U.S. Dental Corps. After fulfilling a three year commitment in the U.S. Dental Corps Dr. Murray proceeded into private practice in 1986.
In his quest for knowledge Dr. Murray has become a student of the most prestigious continuing education institutes in the world. Dr. Murray is a student of the LVI-Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where his focus is now on the treatment of headaches, migraines and neck pain.
Over the years Dr. Murray has continued to be very active in his community receiving numerous excellence rewards. As one of his community affiliations, he headed the "Good Deed Contest" for school aged kids. Dr. Murray continues as a student in a sense in the practice of dentistry, always advancing himself and keeping an edge on the most hi-tech technology and cutting edge procedures. Dr. Murray continues to practices dentistry with the utmost care and concern for his patients. He continuously educates his patients about the benefits of maintaining good oral health and the importance of dental health, and how it is relative to our overall health.
Dr. Murray also owns and directs the Atlanta Institute of Dental Careers, a training institute teaching people to develop into dental assistants and office personnel for the Dental Profession. Dr. Murray’s hobbies include photography, art collecting, reading and traveling. He is also happily married to his wife Celeste Murray for eighteen years. Dr. Murray is also the proud father of three children, Jovanni, Jhovan and Christina.
